Amaroo
A modern island refuge with mid-century appeal, this home is defined by clean lines, simple shapes and open spaces. Seattle based architect William Zimmerman first realized the homeowner’s vision with his artistic renderings after visiting the undeveloped site. With views to Rosario Strait and the Cascade Mountains, ample windows and large transoms help to open up the interior rooms and succeed in bringing the outdoors inside. Sustainable and man-made materials were chosen for low maintenance and durability. A separate guest suite allows additional privacy for the homeowners.
