Decatur Northwest
This vacation home and guest quarters are part of a planned development where the vehicle access is restricted and the native quality of the island is preserved. The owners desired a simple, barn like design when they approached architects Bob Hull and Renee Boone of Miller Hull Partnership LLP. Elaborate finishes, blackened steel, precision cut paneling, along with re-claimed, wide plank floors and interior barn doors are examples of the efforts combined. The final result would be a stylish combination of modern and rustic materials.
